"Exceptional nursing and medical care"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Acute Medical Unit (AMU) Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

My father was recently admitted via ED to the Acute Medical Unit. Throughout his stay in Ed, for about 2 days, he was cared for by a truly dedicated medical and nursing team. Notably Drs Hannah and Eimear both of whom showed true  human compassion and care to my father and I, as well as delivering all the appropriate interventions. The department was exceptionally busy but the nursing staff continued to provide a truly excellent standard of care throughout.

My father was transferred to the AMU and the standard of care continued at the excellent level we saw in ED with Deputy sister Catherine  along with the rest of the nursing team making that effort to bring the personal aspect to their professional practice.

I would like to thank all the staff involved for the care they delivered for us in what ultimately became end of life care.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback or your fathers attendance at the emergency department. We will share this with the staff. We hope he is recovering well.
