After a fall my daughter attended Minor Injuries in Altnagelvin after I contacted phone first and arranged an appt. The phone call was returned quickly and dealt with by a nurse Ann efficiently.
I was seen shortly after the appt time and she was quickly x-rayed, diagnosed with a fracture and casted and discharged in less than an hour.
The staff were fantastic - including Ciaran the nurse practitioner, Aideen the radiographer, Mary the nurse who did the cast and the male nurse who assisted her were all fantastic, caring and professional, and another nurse who gave her sweets before she left.
The unit is a brilliant addition to the hospital and much needed as it meant we were able to avoid A&E. Very much appreciated
