I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and within 4 weeks, I’d got my appointment for an operation to remove same the staff where fabulous. It’s one of the most dreadful things anyone wants to hear, but was put at ease, given opportunity to talk, opportunity to do what I wanted. The aftercare was good too, even though they were busy, still had the time to discuss whatever was needed.
It was unfortunately necessary to remove some of my lymph nodes too, and I had to have radiotherapy which in turn caused the lymphoedema.
I was referred to the lymphoedema clinic and after much work by the nurses ( especially Emma ), I have been discharged with a lot more knowledge and know how than I had before. She has taught me how to manage the lymphoedema. Very friendly, nothing too much trouble. So if you read this, thank you so much. ♥️.
I couldn’t have asked for better care.
Thank you all so much. ♥️♥️♥️
