"Listened with kindness and empathy"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Gastroenterology (Stomach and gut problems) Wards 8b, 8c &8d

(as the patient),

I was admitted into ward 8d under Dr Lassman.

I have previously been seen by another consultant and had an awful experience witch left me feeling very anxious and overwhelmed, however Dr Lassman was amazing, he listens carefully and made arrangements for my care and lots of tests he made me feel at ease and was truly exceptional and I can’t thank him enough for everything, with a very calm demeanour and excellent bedside manner he made a very anxious patient feel at ease .

I have for 10 plus years suffered badly with gastric issues and he sat and listened with kindness and empathy.

The nurses in ward 8 also deserve praise always smiling and chatting away making sure I had everything I needed .

Thank you
