"The service provided by the staff was of the highest order"

About: Gartnavel Royal Hospital / Mental Health

(as the patient),

I have been an In-Patient at Timbury Ward, Gartnavel Royal Hospital Glasgow. The staff from domestics, care assistants, nurses, doctors, consultants and the various departments in the Gartnavel General Hospital have been truly wonderful in both the care of patients and just as important the ability to understand both their health issues and emotions.

Also the availability of a room called the ‘Sanctuary’ where you can go in times of distress was a truly welcomed place of refuge. In the sanctuary I was very fortunate to meet a lovely chaplain called Amitashuri and we discussed various matters.

In conclusion the service provided by all the above staff was of the highest order.. I would like to name all the aforementioned staff but there are so many it would be impossible !

In closing I would like to thank all the staff for helping me through one of the most difficult periods of my life and regardless of what the future  holds it will never take away from the the fact they are amazing people.
