"Made the best day of my life extra special"

Pregnant with my first baby, I had the most amazing experience with an elective c-section. I was made to feel so welcome and relaxed from the minute I arrived.  Everyone was lovely, midwives Anne and Nicola from recovery and Rebecca from labour ward were so caring and compassionate throughout my journey bringing my baby girl into the world. They made sure me and my partner were calm and relaxed, they couldn’t have been more helpful, also all of the theatre staff from Dr Gibson who delivered my baby and anaesthetist I believe was Jamie, were outstanding. I was very anxious about a c- section but after such a positive experience and being cared for by an amazing team. Thanks again yous are all doing an amazing job, you made the best day of my life extra special.
