"Scheduling an appointment"

This is not really a story - just a compliment and a thankyou, but I couldn't see any other way to pass it on. I have been waiting for appointments with St Michael's Hayle as part of my treatment for breast cancer. The waiting has actually been the hardest part so far because it's meant I couldn't go ahead with some planned work abroad, and I've been in limbo.

So I was so grateful to Hugo at St Michael's who made repeated efforts to contact me (when my phone reception wasn't good enough, he sent a text and then called me back), booked me in for the appointments at short notice, and when I wasn't sure whether I'd got my phone number right, offered to call me back on it to check that I hadn't misremembered it.

All of that was beyond the bare minimum that was required of him, and helped enormously in helping to sort my plans out, and thus with my mental health as I prepared for my surgery.  Many thanks!
