"Toilet facilities at Breast Screening Clinic"

About: Southern Health & Social Care Trust / Breast Screening Service

(as a service user),

On arrival at the clinic I asked if there was a toilet available. To my surprise I was informed the nearest was in the main hospital.

This would have involved walking some distance and negotiating some doors. I asked if this was a mistake given the age range of the clients. It's includes close liable to a number of continence and mobility issues.

I was then informed that the female staff have the same arrangement. This is wrong on so many levels. I feel a review is required. Toilets in the main hospital is not adequate for staff or service users.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our Breast screening service. As lead radiographer for the breast team within the southern health and social care trust it is important for us as a service to receive feedback.

I have shared your feedback with my estate colleagues for further advice.

Many thanks

Sarah
