About: Mater Hospital / Macular Unit

(as the patient),

I was referred by my optometrist to have my eyes checked because of a bleed to the back of my left eye which made things blurry. On arrival I was taken for some tests . Sandra then took me for some photos and told me she was concerned and would like the Doctor to advise. After a short wait Mr.Gupta explained my condition and said he would insert an implant to help my failing eye!

His team of Ryan and Alok explained the procedure and expertly carried it out. These people were fantastic and I would like to thank all of them from the bottom of my heart. A special mention to Sandra for her quick assessment. You all are a wonderful team and deserve much more recognition from everyone. Hopefully with their help I will be able to make a full recovery.
