"Genuine compassion and reassuring as always."

I spent another night at QMH after my latest EUA operation, I literally cannot fault this hospital and it's staff in any way.

The surgical team in pre-theatre were great, it's almost like catching up with people you've known for a long time as they're just so caring and I love the chats we have about everyday life.

The ward team were nothing short of wonderful as ever, I can honestly say that no matter the challenges they're facing, they never let it show. I had a bit of a brain fog of a personal issue on this visit and Rachael was so understanding and compassionate about it, I was all over the place and she brought me back into sync.

As always, I usually head home the next morning as I live alone and whilst I enjoy the company of the team, there's nothing better than stretching out in your own bed, especially when you feel relaxed and grateful about the patient experience.

I definitely owe this team some treats to keep them going on my next op in the coming weeks.
