"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

About: Yeovil District Hospital / Hospital Maternity Care

(as the patient),

I had my first child at Yeovil women’s hospital, the care I received from the first day of walking in for my 13week scan to the moment me and my baby were discharged to go home, the care and support was second to none. Every single person in the hospital was AMAZING.

My birth was incredible because of the midwives who helped deliver my baby, I'm so grateful to them, the hard work and hours they put in is unreal and they do it all with a smile on and awesome advice. Even the anaesthetist who gave me my epidural and his assistant (Jess) were incredible and so supportive.

I was then sent down to Freya ward, where the support was exactly the same as Labour ward.

Helpful, understanding midwives, who again put relentless time, energy and advice into every patient there including me. No question was too silly, help was always there and there advice was second to none.

I’m going home today with my new little addition feeling confident and excited because of how helpful everyone has been!

I honestly can’t thank you guys enough, every single one of you have been incredible and you all deserve to know it.

We live in a world full of negativity and I can assure you that my stay at Yeovil maternity hospital was extremely positive.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Thank you so much for taking the time to send us this lovely feedback. It is really important to us that you feel cared for, supported and fully informed at every stage. All the staff, wherever they work in the department, take great pride in trying to ensure that women are cared for as they would wish to be looked after.

We will post your comments in our staff room so that everyone has the chance to see how they are appreciated they are.

Thank you, it means a lot!
