"Excellent care and outstanding service"

My partner and I have been on the NHS waiting list for assisted conception for years. We wanted to highlight the excellent care and outstanding service we continue to receive from the ACU, especially from Sara, our fertility senior clinical nurse. 

Sara is highly knowledgeable yet friendly and approachable. She makes us feel like a couple going through the process together, rather than two individuals in a medicalised setting. She affirmed that even though we are a couple who requires assistance to conceive, the process can still be special. She was brilliant at finding the balance between the serious moments and the much needed humour. She took the time to understand our unique story and work with us to meet our needs. 

Her dedication to her role and enthusiasm for the profession was evident.

Thanks to Sara's guidance and expertise, what began as a daunting process became a hopeful and exciting experience. She is a credit to the Dundee ACU and we are incredibly grateful for the positive impact she had and continues to have on our fertility journey.

She along with the rest of the ACU team, exemplify the high standards of care that the NHS strives to provide.
