"Mother’s care after fall"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Accidents & Emergency Antrim Area Hospital / Fracture Liaison (Antrim) Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency Control Rosedale Residential Home Trauma & Orthopaedics / Ward 4A

(as a relative),

At the end of June 2024, our mother fell and fractured her hip.

She received amazing care from the moment we made the 999 call, into A&E in Antrim Area Hospital. All staff cared, so attentive and reassured mammy and us.

In particular, Anne, offered exceptional tlc, explanations and support.

Dr Cooper also prioritised the fractured but was very perceptive and forward thinking on additional medical needs. The care was first class and once back from RVH to A1 the amazing care continued.

Set in A1 Bay 2 is a gentle gentleman with such dedication and kindness.

We thank everyone from the 999 call handler, the paramedic team and all those who have cared for mammy to this day.

Rosedale rehabilitation unit also have been outstanding in every way.

Thank you so much.
