"Mum had a fall"

I just want to thank all of the nursing, medical and radiology staff who attended to my mum last week. Mum had had a fall earlier in the day and GP assessed over telephone and advised to attend A+E. I drove up to take her as my dad is in his 90's and mum has Alzheimer’s. The staff were so caring and attentive despite being pretty busy and treated my poor mum with great dignity and respect, despite difficult communication due to Alzheimer’s. I have been an NHS employee for years and know how difficult it can be. The staff were amazing. Mum had actually fractured bones in her right foot, was fitted with a boot, follow up orthopaedic appointment arranged, referral to falls team and I was able to take her home to her familiar environment where she feels safe. The A+E department should be very proud.
