"Excellent care and attention"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Accident & Emergency Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / High Dependency Unit & Intensive Care Unit

(as a relative),

Our mum ended up in A&E then onto critical care, Rachael was the nurse assigned over the couple of days she was in this unit.

The attention and care provided was excellent and we're very thankful for this.  All the staff were amazing but Rachael was our main person we saw most often.  Seeing this side of the NHS it makes you realise how amazing the organisation is. It makes you appreciate that if you have to wait many hours in A&E it's because you don't need critical care.

And you appreciate there are really serious people just a few walls away being looked after!  Thank you NHS for the amazing service you do.

Dear stuart69

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and lovely feedback with us. I will ensure your feedback is shared with Rachael and the whole Critical Care team. We really appreciate your kind words and it means a lot to the staff. I hope your mum is continuing to improve and please pass on our well wishes.
