"Repeat prescription"

I was unable to request my painkillers using the NHS app as they had been taken off my repeats. I cannot phone my GP practice as everything has to go via email, so I sent a request.

I have now been told that they will issue me with one month's worth but I need a telephone appointment to see if I need it reinstated - have been using it off and on for several years. However the first available telephone appointment is not for 6 weeks, even though they will only issue me with 4 weeks medication.
