Unfortunately and inexplicably my veins weren’t giving blood - this has never happened to me before as bloods are usually taken easily from me.

I was starting to get a bit anxious and upset but Maureen was very patient and reassured me that this could be sorted. She subsequently managed to find a good vein and draw sufficient blood to enable the tests that doctor had requested.

I was quite emotional but Maureen was very comforting and helped me compose myself. I hope that others can be more like Maureen and hopefully Maureen will be available should I need bloods taken in the future.
