About: Family Support Hubs / Family Support Hub - East Kilbride

(as a parent/guardian),

I write to say how positive my experience has been with Chloe from the Family Hub EK. Chloe came having knowledge of my son's background which for me was amazing, unfortunately not been my experience with other services.

Chloe listened and came up with ideas to help my son and myself. The first thing for me was a coffee morning with other parents in similar situations this was such a helpful meeting for me knowing not just me.

Chloe very quickly organised a place for my son at a local equine centre, he has had his first session for the first time he was excited for something. As my son cannot deal with groups this 1 on 1 interaction has been amazing.

Chloe has kept in contact and will always answer my messages. We have been given some lovely vouchers with funding the family hub has received. I am looking to start on the triple p course and put our name down for others. I have also been given time with a lovely beauty therapist which is needed as we are now online home schooling.

I really appreciate Chloe's hard work and being there to listen no matter what it is.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to the Family Support Hub and for sharing your story with regards to the support your family received from Chloe.

I am delighted to hear you had a positive experience with the support that Chloe offered you and your son, especially that Chloe was able to plan and share appropriate resources to meet both your needs. It was great to hear from yourself that your son has enjoyed the 1-1experience of the equine centre and that you were able to enjoy some you time with our therapist.

I noted your experience of also attending the Coffee Morning and hopefully your story will encourage others in similar situations to come along as like you we are trying to support parents that they are not alone on their journey.
