About: Arnold Lodge Regional Secure Unit

(as a service user),

We went on a ward trip to Skegness, I enjoyed visiting the markets and bought things to decorate my room with. I went on two rides with staff, I haven't been able to go on rides for years. I found it therapeutic, it was nice to be in a different atmosphere with staff and be normal for a change.

I went into the sea up to my face it was freezing! We went to the arcades and I got to play games with staff.

I really appreciate all the hard work Jodie put into this. We had fish and chips for lunch and was able to stop at KFC and eat inside.

What an exciting day out. It sounds like you had so much fun. I must say you were very brave going into the cold sea.

I am so pleased you had a good day and were able to enjoy doing things that you hadn't been able to experience for a long while.
