I was referred through my GP to St Andrews Hospice outpatients for Strength and Balance class, due to a muscle condition being treated by my Neurologist.
I was contacted by Joe who explained everything clearly to me and gave me advice regarding the class.
I was warmly welcomed by David on the reception and made to feel welcome by Joe and he introduced me to the rest of the class members who were all lovely.
Movements and instructions were clearly explained and I felt comfortable and encouraged to do what I could without feeling uncomfortable in any way.
I can push myself at my own pace.
Joe also encouraged me to try the Tai Chi class, which is also excellent.
Along with my medication and the two classes, I feel a great improvement in my condition. My neurologist is pleased with my progress too.
These classes are truly beneficial and thoroughly enjoyable.
Thanks to the staff for the wonderful job they do.
