"Bucked off a horse: superlative care received"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a service user),

Bucked off horse, landed on my head and neck. Husband called 999, ambulance came after about an hour and a half, but an operative phoned to check how I was and with a video call. The paramedics were excellent in all ways. Caring, courteous, reassuring and I trusted them.

A&E were excellent, professional, friendly. Everyone I dealt with was kind. I felt roughed by my fall and foolish.
