My daughter is undergoing orthodontic treatment & is attending every 6 weeks for her check ups. Every time she has an appointment, someone calls to confirm the appointment. I’m often at work so can’t pick up so they leave a message. Every time they just say they’re calling to confirm her appointment for next week but they never say the date or time of the appointment. It’s happened multiple times & it's been different people. It would be much more useful if they said were calling to confirm so & so’s appointment on day, date & time of the appointment.
The other thing is that the dentist we see always greets us but when the consultant comes, they never acknowledge either myself or my child. They literally sits down beside her & say ‘open your mouth’. It really doesn’t take much to say good morning, how are you today? And may I have a look in your mouth. It’s a small thing but it makes such a difference to the whole experience, especially for a child who might be a bit nervous.
