My daughter recently required ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) surgery at Craigavon Area Hospital. She was admitted to Blossom Children's Ward on the morning of her operation and remained there until discharged that evening.
The standard of care we received was excellent - from nursing staff on the ward and in theatres and recovery ward, to ENT admin staff, catering staff on the ward, and the doctors, including her consultant Mr Reddy, who performed the surgery.
We were kept informed throughout my daughter's journey, and any queries were readily answered. As a teenager entering hospital for surgery, it can be a very daunting experience, but my daughter's allocated nurse was kind and understanding and helped keep her reassured and comfortable.
