"Professional, holistic, person centred care."

About: Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response

(as a relative),

I would like to express my thanks to Steven and Manus for their care of my wife following a fall.  From they arrived on scene to the handover at the hospital, they were amazing

They reassured, listened and did everything thing in their power, to made my wife as comfortable as  possible.

They explained all that was happening and likely to happen and were great advocates for her ongoing care.

They both gave, professional, holistic, person centred care.

Thank you.

Good afternoon rhinoxy97,

I would like to begin by thanking you for taking the time to share your experience of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. It was heartening to learn how Steven and Manus reassured, listened and made your wife feel as comfortable as possible from arriving to the handover. It was reassuring to know they explained all that was happening and likely to happen as well as advocating for her ongoing care in a person-centred way. As an organisation we are committed to consistently show compassion, professionalism, and respect for the patients we care for.

I would like to share your feedback with the clinicians who attended to you on the day and in order to locate them I would require the following information:

o Date and approximate time of the incident

o The address the ambulance was dispatched to

If you are happy to share this information, I can be contacted at:

Maggie.hamilton@nias.hscni.net

I wish your wife the best with her recuperation.

Kind regards,

Maggie
