About: Michael Carlisle Centre / Stanage Ward

It was very daunting at first, and I was on Stanage Ward for quite a long time (5 months). However, with the odd exception, the care was fantastic. Special thanks go to Tony, Leanne, Sarah, Roland and Sam who put up with me through the highs and lows.

After four months I was allowed out on my own and my only real feedback is that more trust should be given to patients to have unaccompanied leave from the ward.

All in all though an excellent service and I hope to pop back and visit soon.

Thank you for your post and for sharing your experience on Stanage ward. I imagine the experience was daunting at first and am pleased staff were able to help you through this. I will make sure this feedback is passed on to the team..
