"Went out of their way to make my visit a positive experience."

About: Outpatients Services / Eye Outpatients diagnostic unit [EODU] Royal Victoria Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

In June of this year I injured my eye. I had a large abrasion on my eye and I was seen by Dr Gupta. The eye casualty was extremely busy but Dr Gupta and his team were very kind and put me at ease.

I had a follow-up review at Eye Outpatient Diagnostic Unit (EODU) and the nurse who dealt with me first was very kind and friendly.

I then waited to be seen by Dr Gupta, once he called me in he remembered me straight away and asked how I was doing which I thought was wonderful considering the amount of patients he must see. I was discharged and told that my eye had healed perfectly.

My experience was fantastic, everyone was polite and went out of their way to make my visit a positive experience.

Dear DLM76

Thank you so much for taking the time to send us some positive feedback, it is very much appreciated.

I'm glad to hear your eye problem has now settled and you are recovering.

I will be sure to pass your kind comments on to Mr Gupta and the team.

Many thanks
