"Prostate biopsy"

About: Kent & Canterbury Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

To-day I attended the K&C urology suite to have a biopsy procedure done on my Prostate, the procedure was uncomfortable and and I experienced minor but acceptable pain however the clinician Paul I believe was the best

He completely explained the procedure as it was happening and totally put my mind at ease throughout the procedure, his explanation's while carrying out the procedure reflected exactly what I felt while it was being carried out with no surprises which mad the whole thing very tolerable.

Afterwards he gave me a complete explanation of what he had done and went over my previous mri scan showing me what was found and why I had to have the procedure done and what could now possibly be a future outcome and what may be required in the near future regarding further tests and if required possible treatment,

I am so glad Paul was understanding and showed patience as often they are in a hurry to get things over quickly and fail to explain with any real consideration for the patient sadly a sign of the times.

The staff and Paul did great to-day for me I want to thank all of you for the kindness, concern and professional way they all worked.
