"Help by WestMARC"

About: WestMARC (Glasgow)

(as a relative),

My Father had lost the ability to weight bare on his legs and has the use of one arm...he had been house bound and foot peddling a manual wheelchair. This had caused my Dads routine and mental health take a drastic change. After many months of feeling we weren't getting anywhere....We were put in touch with a key worker who helped out.

He was referred to WestMARC at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Glasgow, who aided him with a right sided operated electric wheelchair, enabling my father for the first time in over a year to go outside himself....

considering it is such an underfunded department their service has been priceless to my Father and the care given  wad great.

Saltire Sparkle, thank you for taking the time to post your feedback on Care opinion. I'm delighted to hear your father has regained his independence with the provision of his indoor outdoor power chair from WestMARC. I will pass on your feedback to the team involved with your fathers care.
