I was first referred by my GP, due to self harm and suicidal thoughts. I was suffering with lack of sleep, negative outlook, fear of leaving my property, daily anxiety and depression.
After being assessed by a psychiatrist, I was diagnosed with PTSD, severe panic disorder, severe depression disorder, agoraphobia.
All following me managing homeless hostels during the COVID pandemic, breakdown of my marriage, quitting my job as a result, losing my new job, being scammed out of money online.
I received such amazing care, support and given the skills to manage my thoughts process. Change of medication through liaison between GP, psychiatrist, S62 peer support, and crisis team.
My mental health nurse Lynette has truly been such an amazing support to me. Challenging my thinking, providing tools to make me think differently and to think more positively.
She is so caring for people who she supports.
I use the skills that she has taught me. To make my life so much more positive.
I have progressed so much within her care of approximately 6 months because of what she has done for me.
I am now able to volunteer at a mental health peer support organisation as with a view to paid employment.
I can't thank her enough.
Thank you for giving me my life back.
"Excellent care, support and person centred life skills"
