"My dad's end of life care he received"

About: Causeway Hospital / Specialist Palliative Care Team

(as a relative),

Sr Lyndsey and S/N Christina were absolutely brilliant in their palliative care and compassion towards my Dad.

Everything they did for me dad they explained what they were doing and why they were doing it. They always asked how we were feeling and coping.

I honestly don't know what we would have done without them and l would like them to know we really appreciated everything they did to make my dad comfortable until his recent death.

Thank you both so much

My name is Joanne Currie, I am the Service Lead for Palliative Care in the Trust. Firstly, can I express my condolences to you and your family on the loss of your dad.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience, especially at such a difficult time.

Staff consistently aim to provide the highest standards of care to patients and their loved ones, particularly during such a difficult time.

I am pleased to hear the care provided not only your dad, but also yourself and your family was of a high standard.

Positive feedback has many benefits for staff and most importantly boosts staff morale, particularly given the challenges they encounter on a daily basis, so again thank you for sharing your experience.

Kind Regards

Joanne
