"An amazing bunch of people - passionate, kind and caring."

I had been feeling very unwell all day and decided to attend the Emergency Department.

The waiting area was full of people. I was triaged very quickly, given painkillers and had ECG and bloods done. All the staff were very professional and extremely helpful and caring.

Shortly after I was moved into minor department and had an X-ray and was seen by the doctor. Again every single member of staff was so professional and extremely caring despite how busy the department was.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone in the ED (including ladies on reception desk) who cared for me that night, as they saved my life .

I was diagnosed with  pulmonary embolism (PE) and a lung infection on top of that.

Also I would like to thank you the Same Day Emergency Care team as they cared for me on the next day and done more investigations (nurses and doctors). An amazing bunch of people who are passionate, kind and caring.
