"My experience of my pre-operative assessment at Perth Royal Infirmary"

My pre-operative assessment nurse was excellent. She was warm, caring and friendly and put me at my ease. She was professional and attentive, she answered my questions and tried to find out other information I needed. She made me feel that someone was there for me if I had and further queries about being ready for surgery, inviting me to call the team if I needed to. I am due to have major cancer surgery and this is quite daunting so positive supportive health care experiences are extremely important. The nurse lifted my spirits.
