"Fantastic care from paramedics who cared for my dad"

I would like to express my gratitude and thanks for the prompt treatment from paramedics Annie and I think Craig (sorry if I have got his name wrong).

We had called for an emergency ambulance after having serious worries that my dad was showing signs of sepsis.  The ambulance arrived within minutes and both Annie and Craig attended to my dad very promptly and transferred him very quickly to  ambulance  and to accident and emergency for further care .

They showed professionalism and respect to myself my sisters and my mum  when clearly we were extremely worried about him. Having just recently retired from nhs I know the pressures the nhs is under but not once did they show this in their work.  They remained calm professional and respectful and I’m very grateful for what they did that night for my dad .

Dear Bindy,

Many thanks for taking the time to share your feedback here on CareOpinion. I am so sorry to read about what happened to your dad and I do hope that they are feeling better. It is great to hear positive stories about the work our wonderful staff provide.

If you wish I can pass on the feedback to the crews directly. To do so we would need to know the date, time and address that the Ambulance attended and your dads name. This information can be sent to sas.feedback@nhs.scot for the team to pick up. If you do decide to do this, would you be so kind as to make reference to your CareOpinion username so that the team can easily locate your story and share it with the crew.

I wish you all the very best and thanks again.

Kind Regards

Alan
