"Medical emergency while traveling abroad"

About: Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response Royal Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency Royal Victoria Hospital / Radiology

(as the patient),

While visiting the Titanic museum ona trip to Belfast, I became emergently ill.

From the amazing staff at Titanic who alerted the ambulance, to the ambulance staff driver Brandon, to the wonderful emergency room staff nurses Jade, Stephanie, Amy, Jessica, Meghan, and Dr. Leanne, who stabilized me until I could go to CT and gave my family updates, to the Radiology team led by Dr. Collins who saved my life, to the wonderful team on 6A including John, Nicole, April, Debbie, Amy, Cathal, Geraldine, Chris- everyone has been incredible.

I cannot thank everyone enough for the great care.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. I’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to the ED team. Looks like there was good team work along your whole journey. It’s always a great encouragement for the team to hear, doing what they do is really appreciated.

Best regards
