(as a relative),

My mum received a devastating  end of life diagnosis in early June this year. 

From being told the news  through to her death I want to share my experience with all those who made a difference to us.

The consultants /registrars and in HRH, in A&E in GI specialties all compassionate kind and respectful. 

Mum wanted to die at home and with the help of the amazing Kirkwood nurses (Moldgreen) and the District nurses (based at (Skelmanthorpe) she had a good death.

I cannot thank you all enough for making what was a terrible part of our life bearable and as smooth as it could be . We will be forever grateful thank you .

My role at Locala is to listen to service users and understand how it feels to use our services. I report back to services and managers. I support to make change where needed. I really enjoy my job. Making a difference is important to me!

Thanks Emma, in particular ( I don’t have surnames) Micheal, Jez, Joanne, Helen and Gillian who was a great support when mum went on syringe driver and she also verified death. Amazing people. I was a Director of social services and worked closely with integrated teams .. in south wales. You should all be very proud of the service you deliver truly made all the difference.. thank you all so much.
