"Leg cellulitis infections - outpatient care"

About: Outpatients / OPAT (Outpatient Antibiotic Therapy)

(as a service user),

OPAT service at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary is a brilliant service. After another  bad infection in my leg, this service enabled me to go home with a PICC line and attend daily for IV antibiotics for 2 weeks.

The service is great but also the care from the nurses, in particular Eva and Margaret who put you at ease. Explain everything. They are just lovely down to earth nurses who know their job and do it with a smile on their face.

Dear Rye1984,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your lovely feedback for the OPAT team. I am delighted you had such a good experience. I will ensure the whole Team receive it. I know Eva and Margaret will both be delighted with your kind comments.

I hope you are recovering well.

Kindest regards,

Alison.
