"Lack of care during hospital stay"

About: Poole General Hospital

(as the patient),

I was in the hospital for one month and had two operations.

Unfortunately I felt that many of the staff don’t care. I got moaned at because their fridge had some of my personal food stored there (due to me having celiac). Staff continually ignoring the bell, I had to beg for bowls of water to wash the best I could, regularly woken up at night to take painkillers despite the fact my notes say I don’t take them.

Skin was sore with urine burns, aggressive staff, staff telling me I should take medications. One night a member of staff shouted at me, even though it was their own mistake. This got to the stage I felt unsafe on the ward.
