About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as a service user),

Barry was the best counsellor i have ever had. He listened to every word no matter how much it seemed confusing and i felt he understood how i had been feeling all these years. He put things into words that i couldnt and understood my anxieties without me even saying and gave advice in a way that i had not had before.

He made me feel totally at ease so i could be myself which obviously made the sessions so much easier and for me to receive the support i needed.

His advice and support was so helpful that i feel i am now able to cope with the issues i have.

Thank you for giving me Barry.

It’s amazing that you were able to have a great therapeutic relationship where you felt listened to and understood by Barry. It sounds like Barry was able to empathise and understand where you were coming from. It is so encouraging that Barry was able to make you comfortable and at ease, so you felt safe to share and be able to receive the support you needed.

Furthermore, I am happy to hear that you were able have such a positive therapeutic experience with Barry, which had a great impact on journey to recovery. Your kind words are greatly appreciated, and we will share them with Barry and let him know of the wonderful feedback and impact he had on you.
