"Time for Change Webinar"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as a service user),

I”ve just had the third and final week of the Time for Change webinar. The sessions were run by Nicole, Autumn and Chloe and introduced us to what Talking Therapy is about and what to expect. Each week covered different aspects from understanding Change and whether we’re ready for it to setting Goals and understanding what Therapy is.

Personally I’ve found it very helpful and have a better idea of what to expect from my therapy sessions. Being in a group ,even via Zoom, is good to see how others are feeling too and that we’re not alone. We were able to ask questions and give our own thoughts via chat which was great.

I’m definitely ready for Change and feel certain after these sessions that with an open mind and positive attitude towards the therapy things for me will improve. Nicole, Autumn and Chloe were brilliant. They explained perfectly each section every week and were always ready for comments or questions to ensure we all understood. I already feel positive and extremely grateful for the help I’m receiving. I’ve been feeling very low and anxious for a very long time and not known where to start. I attended a Pain Management Programme recently which was led by a Psychologist and Physiotherapist for 8 weeks. I gained so much from this and started to open up during these sessions. The Psychologist spoke to me at the end of the last session and asked me to contact Inclusion for further help. I felt that i needed more help too and really had only scratched the surface with them.

I called. Inclusion a few days later and am now ready to continue and am hopeful for improvement. I’ve been fortunate enough to have started my 1-2-1 sessions via telephone with a therapist and have been given a few suggestions and “homework’ to start my change.

I would 100% recommend Inclusion Thurrock Talking Therapies to anyone who is struggling and needs help.

Thank you so much to Nicole, Autumn and Chloe for your understanding and compassion.

Dear J1432,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with one of our psycho-education webinars.

I am glad to hear that you learned what to expect from therapy. It seems like you paid close attention to every part of the session and managed to retain the information shared.

It appears you found the format of the webinar and the support from other attendees very useful.

Change requires commitment and perseverance, and what I have noticed is that you are more than ready as you have already shown both.

You should be proud of your commitment so far and how much you have learned in such a short space of time.

I will share your positive feedback with Autumn, Chloe and Nicole, as I am sure they will be pleased with it.

I wish you all the best in your healing journey.

Best wishes,

Ann
