"I felt understood and cared for"

About: General practices in Ayrshire & Arran

(as a service user),

After disclosing my concern with the receptionist I was allocated appointment with the ANP.

My appointment with Jennifer was an early app at around 0830, these early appointment are such a help to allow time for people who work unsociable hours to access GP appointments without having to book a day off ect.

The nurse was outstanding she helped me relax and reassured me before referring me on. I was treated with dignity and compassion and she took the time to listen to me. I felt understood and cared for.

I cannot thank her enough

Dear Caitlin71

Thank you so much for taking the time to share feedback on your healthcare experience.

I am really pleased to hear that ANP, Jennifer, within your GP Practice was able to provide you with such person centred and reassuring care. It is also good to hear that your Practice was able to offer you an early appointment, which I agree is so helpful for people who work unsocial hours.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and if you would like me to pass your lovely comments to the Team in the Practice, and to Jennifer in particular, can you please email the name of your practice (we can do so anonymously if you prefer), to HSCPAdmin@aapct.scot.nhs.uk.

Once again, thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Best wishes

Pamela
