"Kind, helpful and thoroughly knowledgeable"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Stroke MCN (Managed Clinical Network) Service

(as a service user),

I attended the Stroke MCN Living Well with Fatigue course for 8 weeks - that was expertly run by a Doctor and Occupational Therapist at the Blantyre Life building.

Both members of NHS staff were kind, helpful and thoroughly knowledgeable on the experiences of Stroke patients.

Through the sessions -starting with an introduction to mindfulness -  they expertly led the group to acquire and develop new skills that would allow us to manage some of the challenges that can affect a post stroke patient.

Dear old Silver,

Thanks you for taking the time to share your experience of our Living Well with Fatigue group. I am glad that you found this useful and I hope that you continue to use the skills that you learned to enhance you stroke recovery.

I will pass on your appreciation to my team members Louise and Sarah who delivered the course.

Regards Katrina
