My story is about finding a way to come of methadone while at the Woodlands. While being at The Woodlands I have achieved my aims which I have set up for myself while being at home and living with the problems around my area and the way of life.

While being here I have found the courage of peers and staff that I have got it in me to do it myself and my own time which they have allowed me to do. I will be coming back to The Woodlands in the future to get clean and finish my full detox which has took me 15 years and while that is been in other rehabs which has been longer but not worked for me.

Coming to The Woodlands even so it only three weeks that you need to get your mind set ready before coming. I would definitely recomend to people who are ready and had enough of same day in and day out with controlled medication. I thank staff for being patient and honest and strict.
