I recently had an appointment at the Evergreen Centre. When I arrived the reception was unmanned and a notice saying closed, this is not good enough as the clinical staff had no idea I was there and I had no way of knowing they were running late. I was sat waiting 30mins before the nurse knew I was there, if anybody waiting has a problem there is nobody to tell. It's the same if you ring the 24hr line, it gives you the opening times and tells you to call in the hrs of 08:00 to 16:30, even when you are ringing in between these times and it cuts you off, not a very patient-centred service. As for the clinical staff, I couldn't be happier.
"Not a very patient-centred service"
