About: Southern Health & Social Care Trust / Breast Screening Service

(as a service user),

I received my first mammogram appointment as I turned lovely 50.

I was really nervous and the first date did not suit so I had to ring to rearrange.  The lady was so lovely and friendly in offering me alternative date and times..  and somehow it helped me feel less nervous going for the actual appointment.

Then the actual appointment was so fast and efficient - again so important for first timer and since I have telling friends and family about my positive experience.  Well done!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our Breast screening service. As lead radiographer for the breast team within the southern health and social care trust it is so reassuring for me to read your very positive comments.

I will ensure this feedback is shared with all members of the breast screening team.

All members of the breast team strive to deliver the highest standard of care during these times, and it is very encouraging to hear this standard is being provided and has been positive for patients.
