Anything else?
i was a patient on ward 23 on 2nd of jan 2014 for a lavh on the enhanced recovery programe i had 3 nurses in paticular in charge of my care during my extremely short stay, they were fantastic and went out of their way to make everything easier for me. however i had an unexpected mishap in theatre, then when i had already alerted them to my concern about pain relief i had to ask for a morphine drip to be prescribed. because my urine output was good i had two of the senior nurses keep asking about when i was ready to go home, never mind i had just had major surgery and was still in pain. i felt i was in the way and they couldn't wait to get rid of me. when the staff nurse asked about pain relief she said i could buy my own rather then them prescribe me some, so now i'm in agony at home and have no option to visit my gp for support until monday.
