"IMHA - inpatient at Llandough Hospital"

About: Advocacy Support Cymru University Hospital Llandough / Mental Illness

(as the patient),

I worked with Dan who is an IMHA and he was so lovely and had a great impact on my discharge from a mental health ward. He was kind and caring and really helped me to voice my opinions at my ward round where otherwise I would be so anxious in that position on my own.

He was able to get me discharged due to reminding the other professionals of my rights and my feelings about leaving the hospital. He was of great help and I would highly recommend the service - it was so worth it getting involved with the advocacy service.

Thanks again, Dan.
