About: Crosshouse Hospital / Rapid Assessment and Care Unit (RAC) Crosshouse Hospital / Xrays & Scans General practices in Ayrshire & Arran University Hospital Ayr / X-rays and Scans

(as a service user),

I relocated to South Ayrshire in January 2023 , midway through my post cancer care. I was thinking I might struggle to get back into the system...but no. It has been seamless and above and beyond my expectations.

From the GP service in Troon, appointments easily accessed, to follow up cancer ct scans routinely scheduled.

Throw in a broken wrist, dexa scan, carpel tunnel procedure, blood tests...nothing has ever been a hassle. The communication , by letter or text, is also excellent. Compared to my experiences elsewhere I must congratulate Crosshouse, Irvine and Ayr hospitals as well as my local GP practice.

Keep it up!
