I was admitted to the Ulster Hospital Ward 4a in the early hours of one Saturday in Aug 2024 with a life changing injury to my lower left leg. I have to say that the care i received in ward 4a was exceptional. Despite the staff being under severe pressure nothing was ever too much trouble.
I had 3 surgeries during my 7 week stay. The staff made my stay in hospital much more bearable, cheering me up when i was having a bad day! I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone in Ward 4a, including the consultants, doctors, and each and every one of the staff. Just would also like to mention Stacy, Amy, Kathryn, Donna, Jesse, Ronaldo, and not forgetting Alison for all the cups of much appreciated tea!
I would also just like to thank the physios and OT for their ongoing care in hospital and since i have got home. Chris for all his patience thus far with my physio and being there for my ongoing journey with my Ilizarov frame! And to Heather from the fracture clinic whom nothing is too much trouble!
Everyone has been so kind and supportive.
Thank you everyone.
