"Excellent care from orthopaedic physiotherapist"

I was with my elderly dad when he had a consultation with Tony, an Extended Scope Physiotherapist at Wishaw General hospital.

Tony was absolutely outstanding . He had read dad's extensive notes and started the conversation with an excellent summary, showing that he was very well informed .He listened and summarised all dad's points very well.

He is a very caring professional, a very skilled listener and very clear communicator. 

He gave dad a thorough examination and was was very encouraging about his hip function and then clearly demonstrated exercises to strengthen his thigh muscles to help his knee pain

Dad was uplifted after the visit and has continued to be so for the last week . Tony's positive attitude and solutions has had a huge effect on dad's morale 

He gave us a phone number to call if dads symptoms change and in  addition he sent a helpful leaflet as a reminder of the exercises 

We cant praise Tony highly enough !
