"Supportive and helpful , providing top quality care"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

Due to circumstances I couldn't control - one broken down bus and three busses that didn't show up I had to take a Taxi and was ten minutes late to my appointment (I had called ahead of time to let them know).

The staff member I spoke to when I arrived said I wasn't going to be able to be seen and I had a massive breakdown.

The nurse from the gynaecology department came and said that Dr Bishiri has agreed to see me. They were extremely supportive and helpful , providing top quality care. I would specifically like to thank nurses Helene and Yvonne.

I am sorry to read of your stressful journey to the hospital, the joys of public transport! Also that you were told that we might not be able to see you. Sadly this does sometimes happen and although we do try to accommodate people who turn up late whenever passible, sometimes we cannot, due to the impact on the rest of the clinic.

I am however delighted to read that on this occasion we were able to see you for your checkup.

I will pass your thanks on to the rest of the team.
